BoltchatIn plain words: Boltchat is a free tool that connects to Groq with your own key. AI answers can be wrong, so check anything important. Use it lawfully and follow Groq's rules. The app comes as-is, without warranties.
1. Agreement
By installing or using Boltchat (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. The app is provided by Harshit Garg ("we", "us").
2. Your Groq account and API key
The app works only with an API key from your own Groq account. Your use of Groq's services — including any usage limits, charges and content rules — is governed by your agreement with Groq, Inc. You are responsible for keeping your key secure and for all activity made with it. We are not responsible for charges or restrictions Groq applies to your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to:
- break any law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights;
- create or spread content that is harmful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that facilitates violence or self-harm;
- create malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt any service;
- violate Groq's usage policies or the policies of the model providers;
- present AI-generated content as human-written where that would mislead people in a harmful way.
4. AI-generated content
Responses are produced by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or offensive. They are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise). You are responsible for how you use the output and for checking anything important — web-search answers list their sources so you can. If a response is harmful or wrong, please use ⚑ Report in the app or email us.
As between you and us, you own the prompts you write and, to the extent the law and Groq's terms allow, the output you receive.
5. Third-party services
The app relies on Groq and, when you use web search, on pages Groq retrieves from the internet. We don't control these services or content and aren't responsible for them. Their availability and behaviour can change at any time.
6. License
The app is licensed under the MIT License, and it includes open-source components under their own licenses — see Legal. These terms don't limit rights those licenses give you.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or AI output. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.
9. Changes and ending use
We may update the app and these terms. If we change the terms, we'll update this page and its date; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
